I’m learning a lot the last several years about living in the moment (being present). But there are times when living in a moment especially a moment of defeat can lead to discouragement or even moments of defeat that compound in our minds and become crippling. It can become a way we allow the less than stellar moments to hinder us.
You didn’t respond to someone like you should.
You didn’t have self-control with your eating.
You missed several workouts.
You missed a coffee date with a friend.
You were late for a work deadline.
You let someone down.
What ever your moment today was or moments this week, press on. Look forward. Don’t let the idea of living in the moment bring defeat in the present.
